Tuesday's Treasures

Welcome to Tuesday’s Treasures!
It was so nice to take a week off from projects to just enjoy my boys and have my husband home not working, It’s the little things!
I’ve been dreaming of a mudroom for quite sometime now and I’m so excited to say my dream is coming true!
About 4 years ago my husband and father in law built a playroom for the kids.  As they grow the amount of toys has become less and less, which means this room can become multifunctional.
I started to paint the walls and am so excited to take you along on this fun journey!

Did I tell you how excited I am about this?  So excited!!!!

Here are some highlights from the past two weeks:

Tara’s sign is awesome!  If your up for making one of your own she has a tutorial here.
If your not up for the challenge she is selling them, just leave her a comment!
Serendipity Chick Design Vintage wall art
The Frosted Gardner’s card catalog makeover. Imagine one of these for all your craft supplies!
My Martino’s Nest table runner and wine bags!

How about you, are you back in project mode or are you still taking down Christmas?

  3. So you are saying there is hope for me and the toys that have over taken my home???? LOL I have toys coming out my ears after Christmas I almost can't stand to look at all of them : )

Can't wait to see the finished product and all of the fun accessories you find to put in your new room, yay!

  4. I too am looking forward to seeing what you do! You have always amazed me with the beautiful things you post here. You are one talented lady!

  5. I just love the sign that Tara made so much! I would love a mud room! The only project I've been working on is cleaning like crazy!

  6. What mom doesn't want a mudroom? How exciting! Can't wait to see the final version! I'm so excited that for once I got my act together to link to your Tuesday party – thank you for hosting Kristin!

  7. Hi Kristin –

Thank you for featuring our card catalog! It was one of my favorite projects this past year. What a pleasure to stop by and see it here on your beautiful blog. 8. Hi Kristin~ Can't wait to see the mudroom- how fun! All linked up- Thanks for hosting! ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. I've linked up my latest project, decided to just jump right into the new year! Fun linky party…and your new project looks great, a MUDROOM! Wonderful!

  10. I can't wait to see your new project complete….you're so good to show us the whole journey…I've got to get better at that!
    Before pictures matter.

and THANK YOU for the shout out about our sign….we're making four of them to sell so far..and have a few "maybes" hanging out there…

  11. There is nothing better than scrolling through a blog only to come across your own project being featured. What a nice surprise. Thanks so much…

I have to agree…Although I wish my kids would stay young forever, I love that the toys become less as they get older. As a matter of fact, I am posting my sons bedroom re-do at your party, and I feel like the room still needs stuff. Amazing how toys used to just fill it up and we couldn't walk.

    Eagerly awaiting your mudroom reveal….

    Take care,

  12. I can't wait to see how you transform the playroom, Kristin! LOVE your burlap wine bags and table runner, too!
I was finally able to access your Tuesday's Treasures page… yay! Thanks for hosting!

  13. Hi Kristin, looking forward to your reveal of your new project. I have already been working on one, too. Thanks for hosting.

  14. I'm excited to see how your room turns out. Of course I know it will be fab! I have a couple of things in mind that I want to do but Christmas is up until the 6th so I'm trying not to think about them too much.

  15. I love all of the projects that you featured. I'm also excited to see your mudroom. That's an exciting project to kick off the new year. I, too, took the week off to enjoy time with family, friends and my husband having the week off. I'm savoring my last day of Christmas decor and starting the process of taking it all down tomorrow, I did buy some pretty fabric to attempt my first upholstery project. Have fun with your mudroom and I can't wait to see the reveal!

  16. Hi Kristin! Oh, that is so funny because making over our playroom is on my list of projects for this year! We are kind of going through the same thing where the toys aren't getting played with as much and I would love to make it more of a hang out space for us. The train table will probably be getting donated soon (which makes me want to cry!) and making space for more "big kid" things. I'm looking forward to getting some great inspiration from your space! Thanks for hosting this fun party and thanks so much for your sweet comments from the other day!

  17. Love the sign with the family words! I'd love to make one!!! (if I can find the time!)

I can't wait to see your mudroom area, gonna be great!Beadboard is heavenly!!!

Also, thanks for the offer to help with my grab button….it is such a challenge, one I can't just wrap my brain around.

  26. Adding a mud room
    three years ago to

    LOVE Tara's sign and the
    card catalog….I dream
    of owning one, someday.
    Project mode? No. Sadly,

    and look forward to tackling
    something fun, soon!
