Painting Glass

Hope your weekend was relaxing!
I’ve been collecting glass vases and bottles for as long as I can remember.
I’ve reused them for so many different things but today I’m going to show you how easy it is to
dramatically change the look of any glass container with paint.
First, wash and dry your glass
I use regular spray paint for all my glass and I have not had any problems with scratches or peeling.
However, the paint has not stood up to my dishwasher.

Apply a few light coats until the glass is completely covered.

The first vase I displayed in the foyer.
The second vase I added to the kitchen basket stores my everyday kitchen cleaners.
That is it,
quick and easy,
 yet makes such a difference!
Have a fabulous day!

  7. This was great! I've been planning on doing a similar project. Do you paint on the inside of the vases? Doesn't the paint get on the outside of the glass with you spraying it on?
    Thanks for posting!
