Burlap and linen gift wrapping ideas

There is something about Fall and Burlap, they seem to perfectly fit hand in hand.

In Celebration for the party All Things Burlap, I  decided to recycle different materials and wrap some presents for some upcoming fall birthdays.

For the first gift I cut pieces of burlap, linen and varies materials and laid them in a large stack, alternating between each type of material. Using rattan ribbon I tied a very tight knot around the center and hot glued a fabric rosette.  I have a tutorial up on the fabric rosettes here.

I wrapped the present using white craft paper and added my burlap embellishment on top, simple and pretty.

For the second gift I used strips of burlap, linen and lace, layering each on top of one another.  I finished this one off with another fabric rosette attaching it with hot glue.

The possibilities are really endless, you could use any type of scrap materials, brown paper bags, buttons, etc… get creative and have fun with it!

How about a little more burlap inspiration, ok A LOT!

  1. That first package is too pretty to open. I would have to just guess at what was inside so as not to spoil the package itself. Great ideas here, Kristin. xo Diana
