Honey Glazed Salmon Recipe
My In-laws received a recipe from the head chef when they were on an Alaskan cruise years ago and I have to say it is one of my favorites. I have tweaked it over the years to make it more my own and it is always a crowd pleaser with just the perfect amount of sweetness.
Mix together the following ingredients
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup orange juice or pineapple juice (both are yummy)
1/4 cup honey
Add about 1 pound of salmon and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour. I like to let it sit a little longer so the flavors really set in.
Grill the salmon until the fish flakes easily with a fork. (usually about 5-10 minutes per side but depends upon how thick the fish is) Brush the salmon with the marinade while it is cooking.
Add some chopped chives on top if you so desire.
Dig in and enjoy!
This looks wonderful! I look forward to trying it.
