Ideas For Kids Rooms On A Budget
Hi friends, I’m back again for our DIY housewife series, this month is all about kids rooms on a budget! This post is actually pretty sentimental for me. I’ve seen this room go from nursery, for three incredible boys, to a shared toddler room, then a shared slightly grown up room and now a grown up bedroom for our youngest. I really wish I could just stop time from moving so quickly. Next year our oldest will be going off to high school yet it seems like yesterday we brought him home from the hospital.
Awhile back I updated an old armoire we once used in the loft for the boys bedroom, it was perfect for the space. This armoire went from housing a TV unit into housing hundreds of lego’s, OK maybe thousands.
You can find the tutorial here, I used chalk paint which made this makeover super easy!
Don’t pass on those ugly armoires, seriously they have so many uses!
Think, storage; shoes, toys, china hutch, linens, sewing cabinet, crafts, potting shed, beverage bar, pantry, hidden office, seriously the ideas are endless!
You can find the rest of what used to be the boys room right here. We have updated it over the past year, I promise to share, I just need a few more hours in the day!
Time to check out all the amazing DIY kids bedroom idea’s from the DIY Housewives!
Thanks so much for stopping in today!
