100 Plus Beat The Heat Indoor DIY & Craft Projects

Does the freezing temperatures have you hunkering down indoors or maybe the heat has you down, and your feeling unmotivated? Don’t you worry, I have 100 Plus Indoor DIY & Craft Projects you can complete in the comfort of your own home with the AC running or if it’s the winter time, the heat blasting and the fireplace roaring.

Oh, how I love summer but let’s face it, sometimes it gets way too hot to continue working on those DIY projects you have on that honey-do list outside.  Some days staying indoors in the nice A/C sounds pretty perfect, so the thrift store team is sharing some of their favorite crafts and DIY ideas you can complete indoors.

It’s funny, right before we left for Havasu the kids and I were talking about how pleasant our summer has been, we had yet to run the A/C.  Then BAM we get back from the 100-degree heat in Arizona and it was hot and humid here in San Diego. Mosquitoes, humidity, and lots of sweat, the poor dogs haven’t had a long walk in a few weeks and I have some of the worst bites from sitting outside last weekend during the evening. Trust me though, I’m not complaining, we have such beautiful weather year-round and I count my blessings.

One of the top 10 posts on my blog is how I painted over these dark picture frames with chalk paint.  It was seriously one of the easiest projects and made a huge difference in how the frames looked!

Don’t throw those old cozy sweaters away, give them new life by turning them into a Boho Pillow Cover!  Sadie Seasongoods has all of the details on her blog.

Domestically Speaking is sharing how to make a Metallic Gold and Brown wreath by simply painting over faux fall leaves.

How creative is this project?  Petticoat Junktion took old movie reels and turned them into a succulent display so pretty!

My Repurposed Life painted acorns using nail polish and acrylic paint.  They look so pretty on display in a bowl, a perfect fall project!

Shop At Blue is giving you all of the details on how to embellish hand towels.

If you have an old shelf sitting around, look how Organized Clutter completely made it over so she could display her vintage farmhouse wares.

In the last 30 days, my most looked at post has been how to make this chunky knit pumpkin!
I’m thinking the weather has been way too hot for people so everyone is looking forward to fall and crafting!

Our Southern Home found this basket wreath at a thrift store and turned it into a gorgeous floral wreath by adding faux stems and a sign.  Simply gorgeous!
