Baker’s twine Easter eggs
I can feel it, Spring is just around the corner! The birds chirping wake me in the morning, last years flowers are starting to bloom, the days are longer and the sun is shining, I love this time of year. (OK minus the kids not wanting to go to bed because of the time change)
I have a plethora of plastic eggs so I thought it would be fun to give them a mini makeover just in time for Spring!
This craft is super easy, promise!
All you need is a plastic egg, hot glue and some bakers twine.
Grab a plastic Easter egg, dab a little bit of hot glue on the end of your baker’s twine and adhere it to the egg.
Begin wrapping the baker’s twine adding little dabs of hot glue where needed. Continue wrapping until you reach the other end. Carefully cover the other end by winding your twine in little circles. You will have little spots where you can see the egg, just cut a strip of twine and hot glue it, better yet, don’t worry about it!
These cute eggs are perfect for Easter decor; fill vases or apothecary jars, display them on your mantel or turn them into a place setting and make your guests feel extra special. There are so many possibilities!
