Tablescape
Can you believe Christmas is getting so close!
Have I told you I will be hosting our traditional family Christmas party NEXT weekend with a minimum of
50 people?
Have I started prepping?
NO!
Somehow it all comes together.
(fingers crossed)
This year I decided to to mimic our mantel with lots of greens mixed with a little bling for our dining room table.
I used the layer affect by adding my handmade runner, followed by green garland wrapped in ribbon and snowflakes. I finished it off with my epson salt ornaments, faux snow and dollar store ornaments.
I couldn’t just stop at the table and decided to decorate the light fixture.
The crystals were leftover from the light that I received from a dear friend who gave me her mother’s chandelier which I restored.
I better stop there, I need to have a few surprises for our home tour this Friday!
Your table looks just beautiful, Kristin! Like a winter wonderland with all f the silver and white! You did a great job with the garland and "snow"…just gorgeous.
Have fun getting ready for the home tour and all of your company…you sound relaxed and that's the way it should be! 🙂
XO,
Jane

So pretty! The ornaments you made are perfect for the wintery look! I just had a party last night, wish I would have got busy earlier – I was stashing things everywhere in the last hour! 🙂
Looks beautiful Kristin. Fifty people is quite a crowd, but I know you'll pull it off…and with style! Enjoy
Beautiful, Kristin. Have fun at your party. We are going to my husband's family Christmas Saturday and there will be over 100 there. He is one of ten kids so the family is huge!
How gorgeous everything looks! Just like a winter wonderland. You've done a beautiful job decorating. 50 is a lot of people! How fun it will be! If I wasn't going to my father-in-laws 90th birthday I would drive down and help you! I'm a good server and dish washer!
The north Pole has landed on your table – it's a snowy paradise.
Good job!

I love your dining room chairs! Can you tell me where/when they were purchased? Thanks! Beautiful decorations!!
Kristin … your dining room is dressed to perfection. I love that you continues your green and white palette in here, too. The snowflakes are such a festive filler and I love the burlap based trees!
Oh this is just lovely! I love the white.
It looks so lovely! Greens with white and silver are my normal scheme and I just love it – it never gets old! 🙂
Love how you made your table so wintry. You used some creative ideas. I'm looking forward to seeing your house on the tour tomorrow! This has been such a fun week seeing everybody's decorations. Who needs magazines anymore? ha!
