Simple Winter Decorating Tips
Winter has been a little chilly this year so we thought it seemed appropriate to share some simple winter decorating tips to get you through those cold winter nights.
To be honest, I don’t really decorate for Winter, I just leave a few items up from Christmas that can work double duty!
My number one goal when decorating is comfort, I want our home to be warm and inviting, a place you can put your feet up and relax. There’s nothing quite like the twinkle of lights coming out of clear glass that capture the brilliance of a cold winters night and it is so easy to accomplish!

Supplies
LED Mini String Lights
Mason Jar
Artificial Snow(I used a mixtures of faux snow)
Optional
Ribbon
Embellishment of your choice
Place the battery pack on the bottom of the jar. If you don’t have a remote for the LED lights, I recommend you use lights that have a timer or you are going to have a huge mess every time you want to turn it on or off. If you do have a timer, I would start putting this together around the time you want the luminary lights to go on everyday.
Next, add the snow and continue adding more snow until you are happy with the result. You really can’t go wrong. If you would like you can add ribbon and some greenery for a little extra pizzaz.
I placed our’s on a tray on top of the coffee table and scattered some snowy pinecones. I left a lot of the Christmas decor up on the mantel other then the stockings and reindeer. I don’t plan on changing a thing until Spring.
This was so simple and took under 10 minutes, something anyone can do!
