The little white houses I found at Target in the “dollar section” that really isn’t a dollar. LOL I think they were $3 apiece.Elegant Christmas Mantel

On top of the mantel, I layered pom pom’s, lambs ear garland, and some wintery white stems.  I found the Christmas trees at the dollar store last year, I haven’t seen them yet this year or they flew off the shelves really fast.

I’m hoping I can get a tutorial up soon on how I made this chunky knit wreath, It was super easy!  I’m hoping I can carve in a little time to start decorating the rest of the house over the weekend, how about you, have you started decorating?

  3. Those stockings are my favorite and I love the neutral look you’ve achieved! We don’t have a fireplace but I do have a mantel. Unfortunately, there’s no room for stockings because the couch is under it. Good thing my kids are all grown!
