Instructions
- Write your favorite Christmas words on the front of the small tags
- Cut the sprigs into pieces that are between 2 and 3 inches long
- Wedge the bottom of your sprig in-between a tight spot 0n the grapevine wreath. If the sprig is not laying flat you can add a dot of glue in those spots.
- Tie the small tag onto the front of the wreaths with a piece of red and white twine.
So Simple
I wrapped the twine in-between each wreath to create a garland look and strung them around one of our miniature Cypress tree’s.
It gives off a great rustic but elegant feel.
I love that this ornament has endless possibilities! You could incorporate them into a table setting, use them as toppers on Christmas presents or even string the garland around your mantel!

thank you so much, I appreciate that!
I love these! Last year I made similar place cards for my Christmas table. I need to find them to use them on the three this year. 😉
I loved your idea of using them for package toppers; I love making a “tag” that can serve as an ornament afterward! I rip up my wild grapevines in the yard that 1) grow where I don’t WANT them, and 2) don’t produce any grapes anyway and have made some of my own. My favorite way to decorate the one ones that are a big larger is to make a peg Baby Jesus nestled in a walnut shelf half balanced on a bit of Spanish moss! These little wreathes go well at our church bazaar! I have love red and white bakery twine since I was a child; when we visited my Polish grandparents in Mass., the bakery box of goodies always was tied with it!
I love the idea with baby Jesus nestled in with a bit of moss!
