Countdown To Winter 2012 – Week 3 Linky Party

I am so excited to be part of the countdown to winter party with these three fabulous ladies this year!

countdown to winter 500

I have had so much fun seeing how everyone is getting ready for the season!  It has been raining like crazy here in San Diego so we have been really enjoying our fireplace.  Our mantel is always the first thing I decorate with every season since it is one of the first things you see when you walk through our front door.

I decided on a very neutral color pallet with pops of silver throughout the whole house this year.

On our family nights we have enjoyed playing board games and watching movies with the fire on and the lights twinkling.

I have had a ton of fun making beaded Christmas trees and ornaments this year.

Something about twinkle lights that make everything look so magical.

If you missed Last week, Kim shared her fabulous front door.

Joy Front Porch

Cherry shared her beautiful LODGE ORNAMENT!

Maryann from Domestically Speaking will wrap up the party next week!

Now it is your turn, we are so excited to see what you have been working on!

Party Guidelines: Anything Winter Holiday related is welcome (crafts, projects, décor, recipes).

I will be featuing, pinning and Facebooking all week so please link back with either a party button or a link back to this page.  Have fun!

  2. I love the sparkle of silver! Your fireplace looks so festive and cozy. I used a lot of silver/mercury glass again this year. My fireplace link-up has a touch of bling- just enough to counterbalance the natural greenery and pinecones on the mantel. Thanks for hosting this party. 🙂
    Merry, Merry!

  3. Hi Kristin,
Great party. I’m sharing a great comfort food, perfect for holiday potlucks: my blintz souffle with blueberry sauce.
I also live in SoCal, and the rain does make it seem a little more like the holiday season!
