Picnic Recipe’s And Ideas

Summer is just around the corner and the kids are almost out of school, pack up a basket and head outdoors for an amazing picnic!  The DIY Housewives are back this month with all sorts of wonderful recipe’s and ideas to make your picnic extra special!

I remember packing up a romantic picnic basket filled with crackers, cheese, wine, fruits and nuts and heading down to the beach many of times when my hubby and I were first married.   Those romantic picnics are now shared as a family and with our families friends!  Maybe not as romantic but definitely special in a different kind of way.  Plus, when we do get out, just the two of us, I kind of enjoy being waited on, versus prepping food for our date!

With a little shopping, you can create a perfect picnic from food items too accessories, nothing too fancy but guaranteed to have a wonderful time.  One of my favorite items to bring to an outdoor picnic is these grilled vegetable skewers , perfect recipe to prep ahead and cook on the BBQ or bring already prepared.
