Counter top options and advice needed

I can’t believe the time has come for me to pick out the counter tops, you have heard me talking about it forever. This is what we are working with, you can see the collage below.
New Cabinets are a cream color
Existing Floors are Travertine in earth tones
Existing back splash Is Travertine in light earth tones.
Below are the colors that we are considering for the counter tops. It takes months for me to pick out a paint color so you can only imagine how crazy my mind is going, any and all advice would be so appreciative!
Bright Pearl Marble
Taj Mahal in quartzite
Princess White Granite
River Rock Granite
Arctic Silestone
Calcutta marble
We haven’t decided on the surface of the countertop so I am considering all of them at this point. I value all of your opinions and take each one to heart, writing them down, looking them up, I truly appreciate it!
A little update on the kitchen
Mold is out and GONE (woo hoo)
The plumber has come and Gone (double woo hoo)
Cabinets are being installed Monday (Gulp)
Ray and I still have to drywall, texture, paint and take out refrigerator cabinet this weekend, wish us luck!
I am in love with the Taj mahal Quartz. We have the same back splash. I think the colors in the quartz would go really well together. with the floor, and back splash. We have granite. I will never use Granite or any kind of natural stone again. I want Quartz so bad. They are all pretty. Good luck and I am so happy the mold is gone. So excited to see the end results!! 🙂
Tough to choose Kristen, they are all beautiful!!! I am sooo jealous…would love to have new counter top in my kitchen! But I will just have to live vicariously through you! The one that caught my eye was the Taj Mahal. I like it because its warm tones goes nicely with your floor and back splash. I also like the Arctic Silestone because it is very different from other granite I have seen. But I am sure what ever you select it will be simply gorgeous!!!

LOVE LOVE #2 Taj Mahal quartz!!
I like the Taj Mahal quartz, but it’s hard to tell the color online. Now I’m wondering what it would look like in MY house. Do you mind telling us where you are going to get it and the price so that I’ll know if it’s even in my ballpark?
The Taj Mahal Quartz has my vote because I think it is the best blend with travertine. Boy- No matter what you choose -it would be wonderful. Good luck this weekend with your project- xo Diana
Oh!! I am SOOOOO…. Happy for you and your family, that the mold is gone. What a stress relief that must be. It has been such a long road and so glad things are looking up. At least your only worry now is, picking out new counter tops 😉 boy oh boy.., they all look pretty for one reason or another. But I’m kind if liking the, Princess White and River Rock. I like the texture in them. Im with Laurel, it’s so hard to gage online.. I am sure no matter what you go with, it’s going to be absolutely LOVELY!!!!

I’ve had quartz countertops for 7 years and LOVE them! No regrets! So easy to clean, no sealing required, no stains or scratches….
Like almost everyone said, definitely the Taj Mahal.
I have read really nice things about quartz and the Taj Mahal looks like it would be a beautiful choice for your kitchen. Good luck with your decision~

I vote for the Princess White Granite. I just like granite and that one is really pretty
I would be that last person you would take with you to pick something out, we’d both be standing there unable to make a decision. I will say I like all of them, my least favorite being the first one.
I agree with most of the comments. I like the Taj Mahel quartz. The first one I like the least. I think it’s undertones are too pink for your backsplash and floor tiles. Very exciting!
River Rock Granite OR Calcutta Marble……are my 2 favorites. I think either one would work best with your existing tiles.
Love your selections……it’s unfortunate you had the mold, but you have such a great attitude! Besides, it’s always fun getting new items for your home! ; )
First choice just by color is Taj Mahal. My choice my material is quartz. I would definitely choose Taj Mahal Quartz. It has the beautiful colors seen in the marble but also has the durability of quartz. I have quartz in my kitchen & I absolutely love it. Good luck.
Hi- I thought I should clarify as it was mentioned incorrectly -Taj Mahal is a quartzite not a quartz- quartzite is natural stone quartz is not-it was incorrectly noted in the headline and question she asked! Taj Mahal is interesting -the ones I’ve seen in person are actually not that pretty -I’ve seen some others online that look interesting there are so many others that are pretty as well…quartzite is the way to go! Austral dream quartzite is gorgeous as are opus white and Fantasy macaube-… quartzite has that look of marble but the strength of granite and its natural – Quartz is not! It’s man made!
We are in the early stages of planning our kitchen remodel and I am leaning towards quartz. We have granite now but I hate sealing it and we also have quite a few chips in it that need repair. Can’t wait to see what you decide – the finishes so far a gorgeous!

I really like the calcutta marble – so classy and elegant. All of them are pretty though kristin but I wouldn’t choose Princess white granite and arctic silestone since I think they look too ‘busy’. 🙂
I was determined to go with marble – and unfortunately the budget wouldn’t allow it in the end ( there were so many other reno’s to do at the same time )
I’m totally in love with the Taj Mahal – oh my gosh it’s just gorgeous!!!!!!

Am I the only one who loves the Arctic Silestone? Taj Mahal would be my second choice. 🙂 Which one did you choose?
Arctic was actually one of my favorites but then I saw the price, not happening. We are going with the quartzite in the Taj Mahal or something very similar for half the price 🙂
What was very similar at half price. I am in love with Taj Majal but way to expensive for the amount of stone I need!!
I don’t mind being the voice of dissent on this one. I have STRONG feelings about it! Forgive me for taking you out of your current realm of choices but, I think you are choosing too much of one pallet. Have you considered a darker shade of brown? I think it would look very classy. (Keep in mind that my wish is to have white-white cabinets with black hardware and black countertops.) Just a thought. Whatever you choose will look super wonderful though. Everything else you’ve done is always enviable. How DO you young ladies come to have such great taste at such a young age? I am 65 yrs. old and I still can’t come close to your level of taste. Oops…maybe I shouldn’t have made a suggestion! Seems you are doing just fine without my advice. LOL

Ahhh Bess, you are so sweet, thank you. I was worried about the same thing however now that the cabinets are in the floors are much darker then the cabinets so hopefully it will tie it all together 🙂
