Snowflakes for Sandy Hook
Today I am helping the wonderful Maryann from Domestically Speaking get the word out on how we can help Sandy Hook. We are expecting rain this weekend so the boys and I will be getting busy making as many snowflakes as possible when school resumes for all of the precious children at Sandy Hook.
“When school resumes for Sandy Hook, it will be in a new building. Parent-volunteers are working to ensure that the students are welcomed back by a winter wonderland with the entire school decorated with as many unique snowflakes as possible. We encourage senders to be as creative as possible, remembering that no two snowflakes are alike.”
So as we break out the construction paper, start snipping and perfecting the art of snowflake making my wish is the children and families know they are in our thoughts and in our prayers.
~Please help spread the word~

I shared this on my personal FB page and my blog FB page. It’s a great idea and a small amount of work to contribute to such devastation.

My son’s entire 3rd grade class is sending all of the snowflakes they made at their Christmas party! I think this is just such a lovely way to welcome those precious kids back. Thanks for helping to spread the word Kristin!
