Well, Hello Spring And An Easter Printable

Spring has sprung here in San Diego, lots of warm beautiful days mixed with a few showers off and on.  New life is in the garden with flowers from last year popping up, first buds on the fruit tree’s, roses in full bloom which means the vegetable garden will be planted soon.  The beauty of mother nature never ceases to amaze me. However, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”

Before I get into the simplicity of Spring decorating I wanted to say thank you to Kristen over at Ella Claire Inspired for putting this beautiful party together! Myself and 32  talented bloggers are sharing a bit of spring and gifting you with pretty printables to help you welcome spring into your home!

I decided to add color in very small doses starting with fresh flowers from our local farmers market this year.

As I started pulling dishes for a delicious blackberry tart and tea, I gravitated towards my grandmothers china set.  I still remember as a little girl setting her table with the exact same china on special occasions!

Yet as Spring is in the air and new beginnings are on their way, I must say goodbye to the person I love so much, my grandmother.  The end is so near and I sometimes wonder how will I get through this grief, I know in time I will but for now it is hard, really hard.

However, taking out her china, using one of her afghans, cutting spring flowers and simply holding her hand on a daily basis is a reminder to me of what a special person she is.  I was blessed to have her in my life for 43 years and will continue to hold on to the precious memories I shared with her.

So things will remain pretty simple around here for the time being which to be honest, I really enjoy!  I created a cute chick pendant banner that you can adhere to just about anything with some simple twine.

Soft pastel colors and baby chicks, it doesn’t get much cuter then that.

You can download your Easter bunny printable here.  Simply cut the triangles out and adhere them to some twine for some simple spring decor.  Easter bunny printable
