Inspire Me Monday

Hi friends and welcome to Inspire Me Monday, thank you for being here.  I hope all of the beautiful moms had a wonderful Mother’s Day!  I was spoiled by my boys and husband all weekend long but I still had a huge void in my heart not being able to see my mom.  She has been in lockdown for 8 weeks and as most of you know she has dementia and Parkinsons and has had a few recent falls.  It’s been extremely stressful but I know she is in good hands.  I can’t wait for the day to be able to hug and see her again.

I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy, I can’t wait to see all your beautiful projects this week!

I so wish you could see your mom. My mom also has dementia, but she is still living with my sister, so recently we decided it would be okay for us to start seeing each other again. I’ll be praying that you will be able to give your mom big hugs, soon!

Gosh, I hope you can see your mom soon, Kristin. My mom had dementia and I remember how hard it was when they put the facility in lockdown for a week because of a flu outbreak, I can only imagine how difficult it is being eight weeks. Hugs being sent your way from Canada.

I appreciate that Marie! I am able to face time with her but it’s very confusing to her and she isn’t sure who I am. But at least I know she is well, safe and taken care of by wonderful people.
