Inspire Me Monday

Welcome to Inspire Me Monday, I loved looking at all of your projects from last week, you are all so talented.
I had the most amazing weekend! For the first time in 8 months I was able to see my beautiful mom, face to face, hands holding hands.  I can not tell you how full my heart is.  I know many of you have been on this long journey with me while she battles Parkinson’s and Dementia and I have been pretty silent lately because to be honest, it’s really really hard.  I will try ot be better at updating everyone.
I’m looking forward to seeing what you have to link up this week!

  1. Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 10-26 to 10-30-2020 on my blog. On Tuesday was Sugar Free Homemade Applesauce. Wednesday was No Bake Oreo Crumb Cheesecake. Thursday was Italian Meatloaf. And winding up the week was Baked Sea Scallops. Enjoy!

  2. So excited you were able to see your Mom, Kristin! That is such a huge deal. Sending you lots of love and hugs as you navigate the journey. I know it’s not an easy one. Thanks so much for hosting each week and for keeping us updated. I’ll be lifting you up, CoCo

  3. Dear Kristen
I did not know about your mom. My heart goes out to you. My mom is 90 and going strong and making all her own decisions. I need to appreciate that more. A few months ago she somehow got a stress fracture in her lower knee and so my husband and I are doing her yard work for now. She gardens and mows and seldom needs assistance for anything., however, she is a little stubborn and won’t stay off her leg, per Dr. orders so not sure if she will every heal. As I said, I need to appreciate her more. Hope you and your mom have a good November.

    1. Thank you so much Vicky for your sweet comment. I hope your mom has a complete recovery from her fracture, you are so wonderful to help with her yard. My grandparents lived to be 102 and 100, I hope your mom continues to live a long and wonderful life!
