This 3-Ingredient Peppermint Sugar Scrub is great for soothing tired muscles and reviving dry skin, it’s a great DIY gift that can be made in less than 10 minutes!

Supplies:

1/2 cup coconut oil
1 cup granulated sugar
15 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
Food Coloring Vegan and Plant-Based (optional)
Small Mason jars I also like Small Mason Jars With Hinged Lids

Instructions:
Put your coconut oil in the microwave for a few seconds to soften it up.
Mix sugar and melted coconut oil together in a large bowl.
Add peppermint essential oil and mix well.
If you would like to add color you can add it in with the oil. (I do not recommend using regular food coloring)
Spoon into jars.

There are many different types of coconut oil, you should use cold-pressed and unrefined coconut oil for this recipe. If you are not a fan of coconut, you can use extra virgin olive oil, look for cold-pressed oil,  as this will contain the most antioxidants which stimulate cells for firm, smooth and healthy skin.

How to make peppermint sugar scrub

Making your own sugar scrub is literally one of the easiest things you can do and it will gently exfoliate dry skin, leaving it soft and smooth.  Simply spread the mixture on your skin and gently rub all areas to slough off dead skin. If needed, use warm water to activate the mixture and help it spread more easily.  Keep away from your eyes.
