DIY Monogrammed Canvas Art

When I saw Dixie Delights monogrammed canvas art I knew right away it would be the perfect solution for a blank wall in the master bathroom.

Scrappin Plus shipped me the gorgeous 18” white vine connected monogram letters and I purchased the blank canvas from Michael’s using my 40% off coupon.

Using a small paint brush I painted in-between all of the tiny crevices with a mix of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint left over from a previous project.

Then I used a foam roller and painted over the letters.

I used a mix of super glue and liquid nails to adhere the letters to the canvas.

I love the whimsical effect of the lettering.

Here is Dixie Delights gorgeous piece.

  2. This looks wonderful! I love it. I had not seen these before. This would be a great Christmas gift for my newly married niece. She doesn’t have any artwork on her walls. This would be so fun. Thanks Kristin! Hope you enjoy your weekend.

  3. Perfection, Kristin … love it (the *swirliness* … the color you chose to paint it)! I just might have to order one for myself … have *just* the spot for it.

  4. Just Beautiful! I, too, ordered one from Scrappin Plus after seeing Dixie Delights’ featured here on your site. It’s still waiting for me to finish it up. 🙂 Thanks for sharing inspiring things.
