DIY Monogrammed Canvas Art

When I saw Dixie Delights monogrammed canvas art I knew right away it would be the perfect solution for a blank wall in the master bathroom.

Scrappin Plus shipped me the gorgeous 18” white vine connected monogram letters and I purchased the blank canvas from Michael’s using my 40% off coupon.

Using a small paint brush I painted in-between all of the tiny crevices with a mix of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint left over from a previous project.

Then I used a foam roller and painted over the letters.

I used a mix of super glue and liquid nails to adhere the letters to the canvas.

I love the whimsical effect of the lettering.

Here is Dixie Delights gorgeous piece.

This looks wonderful! I love it. I had not seen these before. This would be a great Christmas gift for my newly married niece. She doesn’t have any artwork on her walls. This would be so fun. Thanks Kristin! Hope you enjoy your weekend.

Perfection, Kristin … love it (the *swirliness* … the color you chose to paint it)! I just might have to order one for myself … have *just* the spot for it.

I love this! What color paint is that? Also, do you put the Annie Sloan wax on as well? I have ordered 3 pieces for my wedding from Scrappin Plus and I can’t wait to get them in!
