Flowering Egg Shells
It looks like spring has sprung around here with all the flowers popping up as the temperatures warm and the sun shines. We are still waiting for “El Nino” to hit but until then, I’m soaking up the sun and making some flowering egg shells with clippings from our yard.
This would make a wonderful centerpiece for an Easter table!

Supplies:
Eggs
Flowers
Soil
Directions:
Crack the narrow end of a raw egg and break away a small portion. You can also remove the top quarter or half if so desired.
Empty the contents of the egg. Rinse the shell and let dry.
Fill half of the shell with dirt.
Insert small, fresh spring flowers and spritz with water daily.
I’m thinking these would be really cute displayed in a porcelain egg crate, I have my eyes set on this one!
These lasted about a week. If you want them to last longer you can start with seeds, place in a sunny spot and wait for seeds to sprout (about a week).

I bet those would make perfect seed starter containers for herbs or flowers with a convenient biodegradable shell!
