Inspire Me Monday

Welcome to Inspire Me Monday, I loved all of last week’s links!  We had a big weekend over here with my 50th birthday, yikes 50!
Ray whisked me away to wine country for a overnight and I was completely spoiled by my family over the weekend.  In a few weeks I’ll get to celebrate with my closest friends and family that mean the absolute world to me.
I had a moment (only a moment) where I told Ray, you know, I’m a little sad, 50 is a big number, he quickly put an end to that.  My moments in life have become so much more important. I have a strong set of beliefs and morals I won’t stray from and I pick and choose very carefully who is allowed in my life, I have been so blessed in that department.
I have gone from being told I would be in a wheelchair in 5 years to living a healthy and active life thanks to a miracle drug.  I don’t take my body for granted. I have a good sense of people, I love learning new thing and experiencing new experiences.  I know I have so much more living to do and I will never take that for granted.  I’m grateful everyday to be here with my family, my friends and with you!  SO today I embrace my fifties and will enjoy the gift of life!

I can’t wait to see what you have to link up, thank you for being here!

  2. 50 is a milestone, but it’s also a good place to take access of our lives. How blessed you are to have a wonderful family and friends to share it with. I’d love to hear about your health journey and your miracle with improved health. I’m picking my way through a tangle of autoimmune/neurological symptoms myself. We’d love you to come link up at our Monday evening link party. Thanks for hosting. take care and have a fun week celebrating.

    1. Thank you so much Debra! I will email you 🙂 Hopefully I”m not too late to the party, I will check to see if it’s still up.

  3. Happiest of birthdays Kristin. It sounds like you are in a good place and that’s super encouraging. I received a life changing diagnosis about a year ago and I know how that feels. Stay well friend and yes, surround yourself with the right people because life is fragile. XO- MaryJo
