Directions

Once you have decided on your mix, package the jars.

Fill any size mason jar with the mix until it’s just over half full.
Add your mini marshmallows followed by crushed peppermint, and then the chocolate chips.
You can get as creative as you want with the layers.
Print and attach the printable to the top of the mason jar lid.
Add a ribbon and they are ready to be handed out!
Everyone is going to love this hot cocoa mason jar gift!

When ready to use your hot chocolate mix, remove the marshmallows, peppermint, and chocolate chips from the top of the jar.  Add the amount of the mix that the recipe calls for to 1 cup of boiling water or milk in a mug. Stir until completely dissolved.  Top with marshmallows, peppermint, and chocolate chips, and enjoy! You could even add a little whipped cream on top!
