A Scandinavian Red and White Christmas Tree
The past few years I have been decorating with lots of green and silver. Last year, I added little pops of red into the Christmas décor and I loved it. So when I saw Balsam Hill’s Nordic Frost Ornament Set, I knew that was the one!
Be sure to read all the way to the end, one lucky reader is in for a big surprise!
I normally pull out the Christmas Tree and get it set up right after Thanksgiving…but I have to admit, I had a lot of fun getting my Christmas Decor up before Thanksgiving this year. Although it felt a little strange decorating a tree while it was hot outside, I’ll get to relax this Christmas season!
I love all the details in these ornaments, especially the hand-applied beading and glitter accents.
The pups are so funny, 2 of them love being under the tree and Winston, well, he just loves being in the middle of everything. The lodge faux fur tree skirt is so soft, I may have used it as a blanket prior to using it as a tree skirt!
I was so honored to be among these amazing bloggers and to work with such an awesome company who have generously donated to something near and dear to my family, the Kawasaki Foundation. Now, it’s time to check out the rest of the gorgeous trees decorated by some of my favorite bloggers also joining in the Tastemakers Housewalk.

The Balsam Hill trees are beautiful! We have a tree but have not gotten any of their ornaments yet. I love the French county ornaments and the mercury glass ornaments.
Your tree is beautiful! I would put the $150 toward a new Christmas tree.
Your tree is just beautiful! One of my favorites of all the blogs I’ve seen today. I love the idea of decorating before Thanksgiving. We have always cut down our own Christmas tree, but we were thinking of getting an artificial one this year. The Balsam Hill trees look so pretty, so I would put the gift card toward a new tree.
I actually would probably get a tree. We’ve always gotten real ones, but they are expensive year after year. This would probably push me over the edge to artificial because they are really nice looking.
We always did real, promised I would never get faux, but this totally changed my mind. 🙂
Your tree is very pretty and festive. I plan to decorate our tree with mainly red and white ornaments this year, so those would be my pick. I love the Scandinavian style. Or maybe I would select the baby potted spruce.
I would purchase the same ornaments you used on your tree – the hand painted Nordic set. I also use red, white and silver on my tree!
Love the mercury glass ornaments!
Your tree is so festive and pretty! I love the traditional red and white colors.
Thank you Michele!
I would love to buy the 72″ Juliette Fringed Tree Skirt. It’s so pretty!
They have such beautiful things at Balsam Hill! It’s hard to decide, but I love the blown glass ornaments. Especially the owls!
I would like a set of the Meadow Mountain potted trees to put by my front door.
I would get the Red, White, and Sparkle Ornament Set.
Love all the red!Absolutely beautiful.
These ornaments are so pretty and I absolutely love your Christmas tree, Kristin. xo
