Inspire Me Monday

Hello friends and happy Monday! I know the first Monday of October is tomorrow but I thought why not start the party off today!  Most importantly, I want to send my prayers to all who have been affected by the destruction of the hurricane, it is so heartbreaking to watch.  Please let me know in the comments how you are doing if you have been affected and if there are direct ways we can help.

I dropped off the kids for school last week, it was super emotional and so strange to come home to 2 empty rooms, no one really prepares you for that.  However, I did take the whole week to drive home, I took Highway 1 along the coast and enjoyed all the amazing sites our coastline has to offer.  It gave me the time to reflect on the past 22 years of raising our kids and how proud I am of them!  We still have Grayson at home but he is so busy with the fire/EMT classes and work the house seems pretty empty.  We have family coming in from out of state this week so that will make the house seem full again. We are heading into a heatwave this week which always seems to happen the first week of October, I don’t mind it as the nights cool down this time of year.    I can’t wait to see what you have to link up for this week!
