Inspire Me Monday

Welcome to Inspire Me Monday, I’m so glad you are here!
We had the most amazing trip visiting our friends in the South. I had never been to Florida and wow it did not disappoint, absolutely gorgeous, with lots of long beach walks,  miles and miles of bike rides, and took in every sunset! Alabama and TN were also so beautiful, we had so much fun being tourists. I wish I had more time in Nashville outside of the main strip and would love to explore more of Franklin. Knoxville was just beautiful and we can’t wait to visit family again! Of course, my immune system couldn’t handle it all and have been in bed until yesterday, the last time I remember being this sick was 20 years ago. But, it was all so worth it!

The mom guilt sure got me though, first time ever I hadn’t decorated for Halloween and we didn’t carve pumpkins.  But have no fear, I’m headed out to find us some pumpkins, put on a pot of chili and we are carving pumpkins tonight.  The kids even told me they missed it, so much, that our middle had his friends over to have a carving pumpkin contest, just like we have done all these years! Love how traditions stick with our kiddos!
Let’s see some of my favorites from last week!

I love the bold and dramatic tile that Sontana Home Design used to update her fireplace, it gives it such a wow factor!

These Raspberry Swirl Mini Cheesecakes from the Savory Cipolla look so delicious, yet so easy to make and will definitely impress your guests.

This Puff Pastry Pear Tart looks like the most perfect fall dessert on a chilly night from Organized Island.
