Welcome to Inspire Me Monday—so glad you’re here! I hope you’re all staying safe with these winter storms. I’ve been checking in with family and friends and am hoping things calm down soon for everyone.

We’ve just kicked off a pretty big home project—our first in ten years! It’s something we’ve dreamed about for eight years, saved for over the last four, and finally committed to eight months ago. Work started last week, and if all goes well, it should be finished within a month. I can’t wait to share more soon.

Funky Junk Interiors made over her filing cabinet, and I love the new, stylish look! She turned it into a functional piece using paint, stencils, picture frames, and a cutting board. The makeover turns a basic cabinet into a custom-looking storage piece that can double as décor or even a side table.

Designs and Events loves to decorate her china cabinets for each season, and today she is showing us her winter cabinet. Using mostly items she already owns to create a clean, simple, post‑holiday look. She focuses on subtle winter elements—art, eucalyptus pods, pinecones, neutral pieces, and soft lighting—to keep things cozy!

How adorable is this Valentine’s Shadowbox from Crazy Little Lovebirds! Using paint, a small wooden house, stickers, and faux flowers, she made a sweet, love‑themed display. It’s a simple, beginner‑friendly project that uses inexpensive materials and comes together in just a few steps.
