Inspire Me Monday
Hello friends, and welcome to July’s Inspire Me Monday. I’m glad you’re here! I want to start by saying I’m praying for everyone affected by the flooding in Texas. It is truly heartbreaking.
We just got back from Hawaii, celebrating my Father-in-law’s 80th birthday. What a blessing to have us all together for the past week. We visited the Big Island and did all the things: volcanoes, lava tubes, waterfalls, beach days, lounge days, snorkeling with manta rays, and so much more. My father-in-law kept up the entire time, even on our long hikes. We created memories that will last a lifetime.
Sadly, last month we had to say goodbye to our 15-year-old dog Sophie. She was dependent on me for everything the last few years, as she was diabetic and blind. So this has been a huge change in my life. It hit hard, they all do, but I’m still a mess. The trip was a good distraction. I hope the summer has been treating you well, and I can’t wait to see what you have to link up this month!
A Life Unfolding created a watermelon Vase, which has to be the cutest thing ever and perfect for the Fourth of July or any special occasion!
How fun is this Patriotic DIY, a Faux Tin Tile Star Charms Hanger from Master Pieces of My Life.
I have always made my Pesto from Basil, but this Garlic Scape Pesto from The Copper Table looks amazing, I can’t wait to try it!
Look at this beauty from Creative Moments! She completely made over this
Modern Heirloom, you won’t believe the before and after!
I made over a raised garden planter before leaving and came back to a bunch of tomatoes!
Thank you very much for featuring my MCM dresser, it was an amazing transformation indeed.
I’m so sorry to here about losing Sophie. Loss is so hard, we both know that. But, I’m so glad to hear you had a lovely time in Hawaii! Your FIL sounds like a beast! 😉 Thanks for hosting! I FINALLY got my kitchen cabinets done, and I’m sharing a reveal post! Counters are next!
Thank you Julie!! Can’t wait to see your cabinets!
I’m so sorry about losing your dog. I know for experience that can leave this big empty space in your home and heart.
Thank you so much!!!
Love visiting your party each week! ♥
ALways love to see what you have to share!
