Inspire Me Monday
Hello friends, and welcome to July’s Inspire Me Monday. I’m glad you’re here! I want to start by saying I’m praying for everyone affected by the flooding in Texas. It is truly heartbreaking.
We just got back from Hawaii, celebrating my Father-in-law’s 80th birthday. What a blessing to have us all together for the past week. We visited the Big Island and did all the things: volcanoes, lava tubes, waterfalls, beach days, lounge days, snorkeling with manta rays, and so much more. My father-in-law kept up the entire time, even on our long hikes. We created memories that will last a lifetime.
Sadly, last month we had to say goodbye to our 15-year-old dog Sophie. She was dependent on me for everything the last few years, as she was diabetic and blind. So this has been a huge change in my life. It hit hard, they all do, but I’m still a mess. The trip was a good distraction. I hope the summer has been treating you well, and I can’t wait to see what you have to link up this month!
A Life Unfolding created a watermelon Vase, which has to be the cutest thing ever and perfect for the Fourth of July or any special occasion!
