Today I have a great tutorial on how to clean stainless steel naturally with no harsh chemicals!  If you have stainless steel appliances, I am sure you struggle with keeping them clean, with three boys it’s almost impossible in our household.  However, I found the easiest solution and it won’t break the bank!  I’ve been using vinegar for years to clean and just recently came upon the baby oil trick for polishing!

How to Naturally Clean Stainless Steel

Here are a few before pictures with streaks, water marks and smudges that seem impossible to get off.

Directions:

All you need is 2 simple ingredients; White Distilled Vinegar
and baby oil, a spray bottle, and a soft cloth (microfiber is best).

Polish Stainless Steel using baby Oil

First, put the vinegar into a spray bottle, spray your appliances liberally with the vinegar. You can use a paper towel or a very soft cloth and wipe the vinegar off in the direction of the grain. This step will really clean the grime off. (If your appliances have any other surface other then stainless steal, dilute the vinegar when used on that material as it is acidic)

Remove grime with vinegar

Next, dip your soft cloth into a little bit of baby oil and polish your appliance, once again wipe in the direction of the grain. You will start to see all of the marks disappear, turn your cloth over to the dry side and softly buff the surface.
