Tuesday's Treasures #121

~Happy Tuesday~

Just A quick update on life since so many of you have been so kind to ask, thank you! The insurance adjuster paid us a visit on Friday, he was amazed by all the damage in the kitchen, from the sounds of it everything will need to be gutted. His report will be sent in for review this week so we are patiently  waiting….I will let you know when we hear back.  Sophie is still so depressed about Bailey, we as a family are healing, we just miss her so much!  On a much brighter note, all the boys went to school today for the first time in a week (out all last week with the flu) so mama got some work done and lots of it!!!!!  Life is good and we are blessed, these are just little bumps in our lives.

So enough of all that….. I know I have said it before more then once but a I am going to say it again. I honestly had to pull myself away from featuring every single link, you guys are amazing! Check it out!

2 links per person please that you have not linked up before.

Please play fair and link back in some fashion. Hint Hint….I only feature those that have a link back…

  7. Thank you for hosting the party Kristin! Wow, it sounds like you’ve been through the wringer! Here’s hoping that the insurance comes through and life gets back to normal for you and soon! Have a great week.

  8. Thank you for hosting, Kristin. I didn’t comment the other day because my heart was in my throat, but I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your sweet doggie. Glad you’re all well now and hopefully the kitchen won’t drag out too awfully long.

  9. When it rains, it pours! Hopefully, you are through the storm and can enjoy some rainbows for awhile now. I am so sorry for the loss of your Bailey. We lost our dog unexpectedly in October, and it broke our hearts. Getting our little rescue puppy has been so healing. Of course, I forgot how much work those cute little puppies are 🙂

Thanks for the feature! You’re so good to me 🙂

  10. That poor little Sophie. It breaks my heart that she’s so sad. The people part of the family can at least understand, but she doesn’t know why her sister isn’t home. Ugh. I hate that.
I hope the insurance comes back with good news.

  11. Thanks so much for hosting your awesome party again! Continuing to pray for you and your family… fingers crossed for a good outcome with the insurance review!

    Love Always,

  12. I’m hopeful that you will hear positive news – regarding coverage – from the insurance company. Glad to know that your boys are back in school. Hopefully that will keep them and their minds active and busy during this time…..

Thanks for featuring my home tour!

  13. Hi. Speaking of the sad story of your kitchen mould and the probability of “gutting” it – will you do an identical kitchen (design/style/materials used) or will you do it slightly differently? I often wonder that with mine if I was in your predicament. 🙂

    • I think about that a lot these days and It is so hard. I love our kitchen, I don’t want to change a thing but since we most likely won’t have a choice, we will change a few things but I am keeping with the white. I would be thrilled if we could keep the top cabinets and would just paint the new lower cabinets to match. When we installed our granite tile 6 years ago we couldn’t afford a slab but now the prices of slab are so reasonable we would change that, just don’t know what color. It is just so hard to think about….

  14. I hope you’ll have help from your insurance. I didn’t get any and that stopped the “kitchen project”… But as you say, it’s just a bump in the road…

  15. It’s a pretty big set of bumps 🙁 Kristen the link tool got hung up and I left it go for awhile….figured that it was not going to work and closed out…Came back to try again and see that it posted it over and over ( Snow Day ) though not sure why it would not proceed on my end. Anyway maybe you can delete the extras on your end and I hope that things get better for you this week ! 🙂 Thanks for hosting! 🙂
