Top 10 of 2013

WOW has 2013 flown by, It’s been crazy, it’s been busy, it’s been stressful yet fulfilled and memorable.  I look back and count my blessings and am beyond grateful for my family, friends and for all of my loyal readers.

It is funny, when I look back on the past 4 years of blogging we had some pretty major projects and room reveals, this year not so much. This year was filled mainly with crafts, recipes and a few DIY projects and that’s OK.  Sometime life throws you some curve balls and you just have to go with the flow and that is exactly what I did, I just went with it.

I am thrilled to be hosting this fun party with 11 fabulous bloggers! So in no particular order here is my Top 10 projects of 2013!

I made some changes to the loft by adding some fun pops of color.

I had lots of fun creating various things with some free wine crates, I especially liked the one I turned into a serving tray.

This recipe for my coconut facial scrub is one of my favorites during winter when my skin is dry and chapped.

I Finally got around to updating our house tour with lots of before and after pictures.

We updated our master bathroom with some shutters found off of craigslist.

I have always loved the look of terrariums and had fun making my own Mini Succulent Terrarium .

Not having to bring out the sewing machine is a bonus for me so this no sew silverware holder was fun and easy.

We updated our oldest’s bedroom with pops of grey and orange, his 2 favorite colors.

I love spring and bringing greens into the home, both faux and real.  This Pottery Barn Moss monogram Knockoff was easy and fun to make.

Even today I still use this easy Skin brightening lemon and sugar facial scrub for a quick glow.
