Being stuck indoors with thunderstorms all this week I decided to take a project on that I have been wanting to work on for awhile now.  I painted one of our walls Amazing Gray in the dinning room! By the way I just read you can buy this color in a aerosol can!!!

 I decided I should do something with the wall to give it some interest. Amazing Gray is a color I would eventually like to carry throughout the upstairs and dinning room.

Awhile back I won a stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils and picked out this beauty.

 It has the same pattern used on my drapes in the family room.

Here is the wall BEFORE I painted yesterday.

And here it is AFTER

Not a huge difference.  However, once we are done working on the stairs, I think the color will really pop against the dark wood and the white stair risers!

So today I’ll be working on the stencil, wish me luck!
