~Hi Friends~
Our mantel is the one thing in the house that gets a quick change every few months usually when a new season is upon us. I don’t know, just one of those things that puts a smile on my face!
Spring Easter
Christmas
Summer
I do receive many inquires on the fireplace so here is all the information.

The mantel is a 4×4 piece of lumber purchased at Home Depot. We stained and distressed it with a hammer.
The screen was purchased at a local iron store when they were going out of business.

Just beautiful! You always do such a nice job. I love how long your vignette is, sometimes items can look lost on a mantel. This looks very luxurious. Great job! I want to find some time to do some spring stuff, I've been so busy with my daughters nursery makeover I Haven't had the time or energy. But it's done now, so I'll take a couple days off for r&r. Have a fabulous day!
Pretty, Kristin! I'm ready for spring!
love love love love love
Kristin your spring mantel looks beautiful! Love the garland and LOVE your iron firescreen!
It looks so pretty! I'm so ready for spring! Your mantle looks beautiful!
We have a big screen over our mantel, too, and I never know how to decorate the mantel without blocking the view of the screen. Thanks for the idea.
It looks really nice and I love how simple and sweet it is. Just enough! xo Diana
The boxwood garland is a perfect touch for a Spring mantel, Kristin! I love the simplicity and clean look. Really perfect for Spring. I had a box wood garland that I've used bits and pieces of. I have the last two pieces just tucked into my mantel.
What a great deal on the garland! It just says spring!
You mantel and fireplace are beautiful. I love it!

Your spring mantel is so lovely and inspirational. I love greenery on my mantel throughout the year and this is just perfect.
We've been so wrapped up in the mudroom makeover that I haven't been able to decorate yet. I did put up the cutest little Easter Bunny picture, does that count? I think I'm going to decorate this weekend. I love your mantle! Looks great.
Your mantel looks great.Love all that greenery.I am not decorating yet.Too many projects to get done and not enough time in the day.

Looks great Kristin! What a beautiful FP and mantel to start with…and the greenery looks perfect for spring!
Gorgeous Kristin! Question-did you add the mantel and then the stone around it? My friend has a stacked stone fireplace like that and wants to add a mantel but she isn't sure how to do it! Hoping maybe you'd have a suggestion.
Love the garland! the perfect touch for spring time!
Looks beautiful my friend! I just finished mine too!!
It looks beautiful! Love the rustic element. Yes, I've started decorating for spring a little. Since we're still working on home renovations, I haven't really been motivated to go all out for any holiday/season since fall! But I've got some fresh flowers from the yard out and about and some of my spring-y garlands – hopefully they help lighten up the place!
I LOVE the garland…it really looks so spring~like! Can I borrow your idea?!
XO,
Jane
Kristin, no matter what you do, I always like it! It sure looks very fresh and pretty. Just perfect for Spring.
Perfect weather (70 degrees here today) has me in the spring mood – and your mantel is fabulous!

I love it! I have decorated for spring…got my mantel done this weekend. We are going to have to un-decorate it soon, though because we are adding stone to the wall! I am super exited…we are waiting on a call from the distributor now for Eldorado Stone…just like yours! We are also going to see about adding it as a back splash in our kitchen…can't wait to see if it will work! Love your blog-you have such a beautiful home!
Your mantle is lovely and such a nice touch of spring! Simple and elegant! I hope it's warming up a bit for you down there. We're supposed to have a nice weekend up here…slightly warmer temps which I would welcome.

Great spring mantel…totally says Spring!
I know you’ve gotten LOTS of comments about our beautiful fireplace and it really is stunning.
) I’m going to attempt to replicate it in our home. Would it be possible to email me a full photo of it, floor to ceiling?
