DIY Luxury Bathroom Makeover & A Huge Giveaway

This post is brought to you by Homewerks Worldwide LLC. Opinions are all mine!

Around here it seems like things take forever to get completed, this has definitely been the case for our master bathroom renovation. However, today I have to say I am super excited to say it is complete (for now) with a little luxury makeover.  We finished it off by adding our base boards, finished painting, moving a few things around and installing The Home NetWerks™ Bluetooth® Bath Fan & Speaker.

Bathroom Remodel

Here is what we started off with, a 15 year old light that didn’t work.

Light before

Here we have the after, so much better and up to date!
Shower with fanled light and bluetooth system!

The fan was pretty basic to install as long as you have attic access, which thankfully we did.  The part that gets a little tricky is installing the speaker wire to the fan and then to the switch.  If this is something you are not comfortable with you would most likely be better off hiring an electrician.

We took the original fan/light out, measured the new fan and cut a larger hole through the drywall.  The rest of the installation happened up in our attic. installation of the fan

The whole process took about 2 hours and they have a wonderful video to watch incase you get stuck at anytime.

installing data connection wires

The patch work for the data connection wire will be pretty basic since it was ran it in the crease of the drywall.   I love that the wall switch allows you to control the LED white light, LED nightlight, fan and Bluetooth functions from the wall!  They even have a waterproof remote which allows you to skip or replay songs and adjust the volume on your Bluetooth®  while in the shower. Plus, it includes a suction cup wall mount to keep it handy.

I love that after the install is complete, the fain pairs your Bluetooth® enabled smartphones, tablets and laptops automatically when in range of the speaker!  The speaker sounds awesome, the fan is powerful yet quite and the LED is energy efficient!

Here is the bathroom prior to starting all of our renovations.

We found some old shutters off craigslist, cut them down to size and installed a chandelier.
