Decorate for Valentine’s Day on the Cheap

Can you believe we’re just a few weeks away from Valentine’s Day? I don’t usually go all out when it comes to Valentine’s Day decor but I do enjoy adding a few subtle touches around the house.

Today, myself and 7 fabulous bloggers are sharing all sorts of creative ideas for the special day!

Valentines Idea'sSome of my most favorite decorations are flowers.  Not only are they romantic but they bring life and energy to any space.  They are so simple to decorate with and are budget friendly.  I decided to display some hand cut flowers from the backyard in glass for a simple Valentine’s display.  For one of the vases I decided to paint the inside, it looks beautiful once dried.  I tried this previously on some Christmas ornaments and loved the impact.

All that you need is glass bottles of varying shapes/sizes and acrylic paint.

Add some flowers and voila!

For my other jars I simply added beads, cupcake decorations and baker’s twine.  Everything I had around the house!
