DIY Bathroom Makeovers On A Budget

Hi friends, I’m back again for our DIY housewife series, this month is all about bathrooms!  Four years ago we started the process of remodeling our master bathroom ourselves.  We had the typical oak cabinets, 3 inch white tile countertops, mini blinds and the big surround bathtub.  We started by updating the cabinets with a coat of paint and installing a new backsplash.

Updating Your Outlets With adorne


  We just recently updated our outlets with adorne and we couldn’t be more pleased!  We have worked so hard in making this house our own, we sometimes left out the little details like switches, plates and outlets.  I’m happy to report our 16 year old cracked, broken, somewhat dirty wall plates and switches have been replaced with stylish, beautiful and functional outlets.

DIY Patio Projects

I’m back again for our DIY Housewives series and this month is all about DIY patio projects!  These projects are sure to inspire you to get outside and spruce up something in your own backyard.

We love to entertain so sprucing up the yard is something I love to do on a budget! The dollar store is perfect for that.  I purchased these plastic pots and gave them all makeovers using paint!
